So like any other fashion blogger, I'm always searching through my favorite blog editorials such as Nasty Gal (my fav), UNIF, or Free People. However, I also belong to another group of fashion bloggers-the percentage of fashion bloggers who can only afford so much clothing per month i. e. no new clothing at times. (You know how it is...scrambling through your closet hoping above all hope that there is an itsy pair of shorts or a dope dress that maybe slid behind your rack of clothes and was hiding all along.) Ha! Belonging to the latter group of bloggers, I'm forced to recreate certain pieces of clothing with materials that I have. Before you start to feel sorry for me, let me say that I loooooooooove DIYing. It brings out my creative side. In fact one of my most popular posts is on a DIY Miu Miu Glitter Sneaker tutorial I did a while back. Sometimes though, I find myself sighing when I don't want to hack at another piece of material with my handy scissors, and all I really want to do is push the purchase button, and watch as that smiley face UNIF tee(that every blogger seems to have a variation of) appears like magic in my cart!
Oh yeah, I decided that I'd had enough with the fuzzy bunnies on my braids, and took my braids out! I hadn't realized how much I missed my hair!
love,
purple bananas and fudgeballs
