Bloggers are funny people. We go out in public in hopes of finding just the right scenery and keeping our fingers crossed that our pics will come out right all the while we're trying not to appear too strange to passersby. I experienced that today. Whenever someone rode by, I'd point my camera into the general directions of the woods, and squint into it, pretending to be a professional photographer of some sort. I'm sure my outfit helped alot! Hehehe.

Spent time with the fam browsing thrift stores and the mall. Later, we went tour local ice cream shot where I ordered a ginormous piece of cheesecake! The above picture is just the tip of my slice!

hidden places

Went to the lake yesterday with the sis. There were discarded cigarettes and various empty plastic bottles strewn everywhere on the grounds from past parties. That still didn't take away from the beauty of the scenery though. We found a small hidden entrance under some bushes, and we followed it, to emerge in this little sanctuary where the water lapped at the roots of an twisted tree. So beautiful.

Went to the beach with my sis to collect seashells for our littlest sister. Had tons of fun frolicking in the cool water. I'm so lucky to live right by the ocean!
