diy removable collar: no sew

Things You'll Need
Material of your choosing
Collar template(I chose a collar from an old shirt, a collar pattern will do just as nice)
Pins
Hem Tape
Scissors
Iron

(Using the template, I cut out my collar from my material)

(collar cut-doubleside is under it-you will need two of the exact piece..make sure it isn't cut on a fold)

(Use the hem tape to bond the two sides. place the tape between the two pieces on all sides)

(Iron all over so that the tape melts inside and bonds the two sides. Never iron the tape!)

(place more tape just above the longer bottom portion of the collar, fold the longer part onto the shorter, and iron)

(let cool, take the two end tabs, and keep them together with the pin of your choice!)

love,

  2. Ah, those are pins!
That's a good way to make collars I didn't know :) Did you figure it out yourself?
I've lot of fabrics left... I know what I'll do with these :)

    1. I came up with this idea on my own. I looked at other tutorials that involved sewing, and I have a hate/love relationship with thread and needle, so I brainstormed this one. :)
